What is the Catholic Hour
Joseph Hollcraft is host to The Catholic Hour: Why be catholic, which airs at 11:00 A.M. on Saturdays and Sundays (re-aired program) on KKXX Real Talk Radio AM 930. Each week Joseph will have a live guest to discuss the weekly theme and topic.
The purpose of the Catholic Hour is to break open the Catholic Faith and the Word of God within the context of the liturgical season. This treatment of Sacred Scriptures and the Sacred Deposit of Faith will allow a deeper understanding of the liturgy as it communicates the whole of the Catholic faith. The locus of discussion will expound upon the relationship between the Old and New Testaments sorting through the many lessons in life that can be learned from reflection into the weekly reading from the Mass. Such topics, among others, include foundational truths to the Catholic faith: the Papacy, Mary, Apostolic Succession and most importantly the True Presence in the Eucharist and Divine sonship. The Catholic Hour also provides commentary to these foundational truths as well as a live Q&A dialogue.
